Tricia was the Jewel Pearce Patterson Scholarship winner for 2007. This
scholarship is awarded to one quilt teacher each year and pays for hotel,
airfare, and any classes at Quilt Market and Quilt Festival. The following year
the scholarship recipient has an exhibit of her work and her students work.
We’ll take a look at Tricia’s exhibit at the 2008 International Quilt Festival.

I met Russian Quilt Artist Izabella Baykova at the Festival of Quilts in Birmingham England a couple years ago. I love her quilts. Last year her quilt was one of the top 8 finalists at the Festival of Quilts. I was lucky enough to be able to get a translator so we could hear just how much depth there is to her quilts. I think you’ll enjoy it.
